News_2Mount Harmon is filled with opportunities for stewardship, education, and fun this year. True to its mission, Friends of Mount Harmon continues to shepherd in a new era of preservation and productivity. Visitors of all ages continue to discover Mount Harmon as a premiere heritage destination for recreation, education, and renewal. Thanks to support from good friends like you, Mount Harmon continues to grow and evolve. We have expanded our living history campus with reconstructed smoke house, tobacco barn, and slave quarters, to bring plantation and colonial history to life. We have expanded our school field trip and special event programming to reflect Mount Harmon’s Tidewater history and pristine natural surroundings, so visit often and enjoy one of Maryland’s most beautiful historic sites.

eagleBe sure to explore our website for information on special programs and events. We have a wonderful array of programs planned this year including our popular special events series, new living history and seasonal program series, school field trips and educational programs, guided tours and day passes, and much more.
