Welcome to Mount Harmon Plantation, one of Maryland’s most beautiful historic sites. Mount Harmon is a tidewater plantation and nature preserve, and features a restored 18th century manor house, colonial kitchen, smoke house, formal boxwood garden, Carriage House Education & Discovery Center, tobacco barn, prize house, 200-acres of pristine open space, nature trails, and a spectacular waterfront setting.
Among its many programs, the plantation hosts guided and group tours, school field trips, an annual special event series, programs and lectures, hiking, kayaking, picnicking, as well as weddings, receptions, community and private events. Guided Manor House Tours & Self-Guided Tours of Gardens & Grounds are available May – October, Thursday ~ Sunday, 10am – 3pm. Tours are on the hour (last tour at 2pm).
