Mount Harmon’s history spans more than four centuries, including the native Tockwogh Indians, Captain John Smith, Colonial and Plantation History, Revolutionary War and American History, and the current era of preservation stewardship with Friends of Mount Harmon, the non profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of Mount Harmon, for the public’s education and enjoyment.

Among its many programs, the Friends of Mount Harmon host guided tours, school field trips, annual special events, educational and recreational programs, memberships, hiking, kayaking, picnicking, as well as weddings, receptions, retreats, community and private events.

Guided Walking Tours are available May – October, Thursday ~ Sunday, 10am – 3pm.  Tours are on the hour (last tour at 2pm). Day Passes for enjoying our beautiful gardens, grounds, and nature trails are available daily 9am – 5pm. Click Here for info and to book your Mount Harmon Guided Walking Tour or Day Pass now.
