Description
Mount Harmon’s Revolutionary War Reenactment & Colonial Festival brings to life the era of our nation’s founding and the 1777 Philadelphia Campaign in the Chesapeake Bay region. Right up the river from Mount Harmon, the British fleet with 300 war ships landed at the Head of Elk, and marched on Philadelphia. The Chesapeake Bay was the gateway to the British Army to take back Philadelphia, where they attempted to quell the revolutionary Continental militias that eventually won, becoming Americans! Don’t miss this chance to see this exciting time in our nation’s history come to life.
