Description

National Revolutionary War Reenactment & Colonial Festival draws over 500 reenactors from across the U. S., to bring to life the 1777 Philadelphia Campaign in the Chesapeake Bay region. Right up the river from Mount Harmon, the British fleet with 300 war ships landed at the Head of Elk, and marched on Philadelphia. The Chesapeake Bay was the gateway to the British Army to take back Philadelphia, where they attempted to quell the revolutionary Continental militias that eventually won, becoming Americans! Don’t miss this chance to see this exciting time in the life of our Nation’s history come to life.
